Stretched Out - Leggy Succulents

Succulents stretch out like this when they aren't getting enough light. Rosette succulents often have this problem.

How To Fix It

The Off With It's Head Method also works great here and don't forget to pop off the leaves to propagate them!

How To Propagate From Leaves

My FAVORITE thing about succulents is how freakin' resilient they are. If you have an over-watered or stretched succulent, chances are you still have some good leaves that you can try to propagate AKA grow new baby succulents!

Wiggle while you work it - Be gentle when trying to pop your leaves off. We're not popping collars here, bro. We're gently wiggling and twisting to try to avoid tearing the leaf. If you can get a nice clean break, just lay that leaf on some dirt for a few days to let it callous over. Check out our full guide to propagating below!
